Early childhood education and protection services encompass both traditional community prevention and intervention services for parents and caretakers, along with professional family development services that include after-school and summer programs, work placement opportunities, parenting skills training, and educational classes for parents and families. The program targets working parents, single-parent families, and families headed by people with disabilities or at risk for child abuse and neglect.
